Mr. Punch Walkabout Routine

‘It’s Bee-Hind You’- Puppet Show

‘It’s Bee-Hind You’ is a traditional Punch and Judy puppet show - but with a distinct ‘green’ twist. As well as all of his normal shinannigans, much to Judy’s horror, Mr. Punch puts one of her beloved bees into his famous sausage machine! This wildlife crime is investigated by PC World, who points out that Mr. Punch can’t go around doing such terrible things to bees as they make every third mouthful of food we eat. Prince Charles also makes an appearance to share his rather unique method of singing to wildflowers to help them grow and thus provide food for bees and other pollinators.

This show is approximately 30 minutes long and can be repeated up to four times a day. There is also the option of up to an hour long interactive session which looks in more depth and bee’s and wild flowers - including learning how to do the bee ‘Waggle-Dance’.

Mr. Punch - Walkabout routine

Accompanied by his pet crocodile, Mr. Punch is frequently spotted at various festivals taking his baby Donald (Trumper) out for a stroll. Realising that he has become very typecast as ‘the bad boy’, he tries to make amends by offering unsuspecting couples a bit of marriage guidance counselling (even though they often don’t know they need it). He also runs parent-baby classes - although, it has to be said, he still struggles with changing a messy nappy. He is also a keen bird spotter and delights in showing off his photos of Great tits. “That’s the way to do it!”

This walkabout routine is ideal for festivals and other outdoor events (during the daytime and/or evening).
